About Caring Treatments Massage Therapy and Lymphedema Clinic
Caring Treatments Massage Therapy and Lymphedema Clinic is a massage therapy clinic located in North Bay, Ontario.
As a Certified lymphedema therapist I not only treat the lymphedema but also teach lymphedema self care and I am a Registered ADP Authorizer for compression garments.
As a RMT I offer advanced therapeutic and relaxation massages in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment. I often will use a variety of techniques during a treatment that create a synergy for a wonderfully effective treatment. These treatments might include essential oils, various massage techniques, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, craniosacral and active listening. These treatments are appropriate for all ages and levels of health and fitness. I am comfortable helping clients with the effects of diseases and their treatments as well as palliative care.
For clients that are not able to travel to the clinic I do housecalls to homes, nursing homes and the hospital. (this service may not be available during the covid pandemic)
About Caring Treatments - COVID19 policies and extra care for your comfort and safety.
I am pleased that I can once again offer my regular services to you. Here is what to expect when you come for your massage therapy treatment:
Please be aware that it is considered a risk to be closer than 2 meters from someone so please weigh the risks and benefits as you decide whether you wish to have a massage therapy treatment at this time.
The day before your appointment I will contact you to confirm that you have no covid-19 symptoms. If you do then I will have to advise you to self-isolate and complete the online self-assessment tool and follow it’s recommendations. I will have to rebook you for a new time after you have done your quarantine.
The day of the appointment you will want to arrive close to the time booked for your treatment. You will be asked again about covid-19 symptoms as an extra precaution. As there is now 30 minutes between clients for cleaning you should have no problem parking in the driveway.
Please come right into the office and wash your hands. We will then complete the payment and receipt transaction because after the treatment I must busy myself with sterilizing the room for the next client.
I still accept payment by cash, cheque, e-transfer, credit card and bank card so use whatever option is best for you.
My 2016 fee list has had to be increased and now the 30 minute treatment costs $60, the 60 minute treatment costs $95, and the 90 minute treatment costs $140.
If you have not been able to work and are struggling to make ends meet because of this pandemic, please tell me so that we can work out a price that you can afford while you are off work.
I will be wearing a mask and you will also be required to use a mask. I will have a few available but if you have your own mask please wear it.
The reusable or disposable masks are both acceptable so bring whatever is most comfortable for you. This will feel a bit awkward at first but I am sure we will be able to find ways to make the treatment as relaxing as possible.
Your safety is of paramount importance to me. All the surfaces and the air in the treatment room will be disinfected with a UV light between appointments.
All fabric used in your treatment will be tossed in the laundry. So every sheet, blanket, pillow case, seat cover, hand towel, protective therapist apron etc. will be freshly washed with hot water and bleach to provide the safest environment possible for your treatment.
I also have purchased a UV light sterilization air filtration unit to clean the air throughout the treatments so that any germs in the air are killed on a continual basis.
We are experiencing unique and challenging times and I am grateful that I am now able to once again provide pain and stress relief to my wonderful and loyal clients.
